We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative for a busy veterinary hospital! We believe that the best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They are patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to problem solve and work within a team. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them, and their pets, when necessary. March Animal Hospital is a well-established, fast paced animal hospital located minutes from downtown Arlington Heights. We have a fun, communicative team that focuses on integrity, innovation, and compassion. A love of animals is a must!
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust while scheduling appointments through open and informative communication
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions and accounts, maintain medical records and files and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different situations
- Excellent communication skills with both clientele and team
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Medical or Veterinary Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
